What is Multi-Factor Authentication?
Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) is a way to protect your online accounts from hackers and imposters. Most authentication methodology is based on one of three types of additional information: Things you know, such as a password or PIN, things you have, such as a badge or smartphone and things you are, such as biometric like fingerprints or voice recognition. MFA uses a combination of 2 or more for authentication.
